24/10/05  Really sorry that there isn't much to write about at the moment.  Graydon's ranking this week has dropped one place to No.43 and he and Travis are 37 In the doubles race.  Graydon has decided not to play for the remainder of the 05 Season as he is back at home in Florida and still trying to work out what the ATP are doing with the doubles game... apart from Ruining it!  I have had several long chats with him, I'm waiting to hear if there are going to be meetings to try and resolve the lawsuit issue... I still don't know why Madrid last week were playing with the 'proper' scoring.. Guess I'll keep an eye out to see what happens this week in Basel, Lyon and St. Petersburg re. the scoring.  I'll try and get some photos out of Graydon too if possible.  Take care everyone ~ Jules

18/10/05  Hey everyone... The only news I have for you this week is that Graydon has moved up 4 places in the doubles rankings.. taking him back up to N. 42.  Can I encourage you again to show your views on the message board about these new doubles rules..

15/10/05  Graydon will not be playing in Denmark this coming week and as he didn't make it into the draw in Madrid, he has gone back to the States.  Will be back with more news when I have it for you...  If any of you have got any Graydon Photos that you would like to share with us all, I would love to add them to the site, all photos will be credited ~ Jules

11/10/05  Graydon and Yves suffered their 3rd defeat in a row yesterday evening... I should have updated the homepage as soon as the match was finished I know.. but I was feeling a little low and was hoping to catch up with Graydon to get his views on what when wrong... So the result last night was Beck/Kindstedt d. Oliver/Allegro 5-3,5-4(3).  I watched the scoreboard on the Stockholm site as the match was in progress... and I really hate this new scoring system! REALLY HATE IT! I would like to hear your views on it on the messageboard if you would drop by.  Graydon will be playng in Denmark next week at the Challenger there... Back with more news when I have it.

9/10/05  Sorry for the lack of updates I have been without an internet connection this past week.. It was Graydon and Yves first match with the new scoring system for doubles (Yes the ridiculous new scoring system that the atp have introduced to doubles..)  And it didn't go the way we all wanted as Suzuki/Iwabuchi defeated them 5-4(2),5-2 in the first round. The Japanese Wild cards went on to win the tournament today.  Graydon is now In Sweden.. and will play his first round match with Yves tomorrow on Court 1 at 7pm local time, their opponents are K.Beck/R.Lindstedt who have been given a wild card into the tournament.  Best of luck this week... I'll be back with results as they happen.

1/10/05  Graydon left Bangkok this morning and is now in Tokyo.  The doubles draw has been made and Yves and Graydon will face the japanese wild card entry of S.Iwabuchi/T.Suzuki.  Thanks to Mice for all her info this week from Thailand, we look forward to the photos next week..

29/9/05  Paes/Hanley def. Oliver/Allegro 6-4,6-2 out on court 1 this afternoon...  I hope to have some info on the match later in the day.

29/9/05  Graydon and Yves are due to play Paes/Hanley on Court 1 today, 3rd match after a 12pm local time.  Best of luck guys.

28/9/05  So its Wednesday and Graydon's first round match still isn't on the schedule.. So it means one match per day now for all the doubles teams that haven't played a match yet.. of which there are a couple.  I'll be back later with the OOP for tomorrow later in the day.

24/9/05  Graydon should have arrived safely in Bangkok by now, as he e-mailed me whilst waiting for a flight in Tokyo... The draw has been made and Graydon and Yves have the unfortunate placing of being the first round opponents for the number 1 seeds Paul Hanley/Leander Paes, but I will say that they are a new pairing and I have searched through Paul's previous results and he and Leander haven't played together as a team before...  So this could be a good match with these two new pairings.  Best of luck Graydon as always...

20/9/05  Graydon is back at home in Florida this week before he heads out to Thailand for his next tournament,  we have to send him lots of winning vibes these next few weeks people as there are lots of points to defend out there!

16/9/05  Another breif chat with Graydon, but I do have some schedule news.. He will be going to Bangkok, Thailand to defend his title that he won there last year.. and partnering Yves Allegro (who was on the opposite side of the net for the final last year) as you may remember was playing with Roger Federer when Graydon and Justin won the title.  After Thailand he will be heading for Tokyo and Stockholm.  He's busy, busy, busy at the moment working on the www.savedoubles.com so keep dropping in and show your support.  I'll be back with more news when I have it~Jules

15/9/05 I have internet access again.. so I feel like I am back in the land of the living!  I will update the site properly later today but I have spoken to Graydon, who is in Houston this week.  Please take a look at the doubles links that I have added to the site, we appreciate all your support.

4/9/05  Friday was a big day with having to play 2 matches and also with all the doubles guys launching the lawsuit about the doubles changes.. Unfortunately Graydon didn't win either of the two matches played, Delic/Morrison def. GO/JK 7-5,7-5. Then later in the day Paul Hanley/Sam Stosur def. Graydon and Maria Kirilenko 7-5,6-4.  So not the best of days on a match front...  As far as the doubles lawsuit is concened, I am waiting for information from Graydon, but please take a look at this link to a page on Bob and Mike Bryan's site to see how you can help. http://www.bobandmike.com/exclusives.html

2/9/05  So its a busy Friday at the US Open for Graydon, with two matches scheduled to be played today. First up is his doubles with Jordan against  A.Delic/J.Morrison on court 8, 2nd match after a ladies doubles match (12.30 local time approx) and then later out on court 17 he and Maria will play their first round mixed doubles last match of the day on that court after 3 other doubles matches... Lots of luck Graydon.

31/8/05  Good start to the US Open for Graydon and Jordan.. They have just completed their match and came through in 2 straight sets, 6-4,6-4.. YEAH! so they will play the winner of Paes/Zimonjic and Delic/Morrison..

31/8/05  Graydon and Jordan head out to open play on court 9 on day three at the US Open.. I believe the weather forcast today isn't particularly good, with lots of rain forcast.  There is a real time scoreboard for all of us to get a feel of the match, and wish we were there.. Best of luck guys!  The mixed doubles draw has been made now also, and Graydon is teaming up with the lovely Maria Kirilenko again, as he did at Wimbledon. They will face Paul Hanley and Sam Stosur in round 1.

30/8/05  It seems like a long week with no news.. I haven't heard from Graydon for the details of the exhibition matches he played in the Hamptons... But at least the US Open draw has finally been made.. Thanks to Kat for adding the full draw on the messageboard.  Graydon and Jordan are in the top half of the draw, and will face T.Berdych/F.Mayer in round 1.

23/8/05  Hey Everyone I'm back... Not much news to report on really, Graydon is in the Hamptons NY at the moment as he's playing an exhibition up there. The only result from last week was the first round loss to Gimelstob/Leach 6-7(12),6-3,6-4 in Cincinatti.  He has sent me some new photos from his big win in Indy, so check out the photo pages for them.  Big week next week with the US Open just around the corner.. Graydon will be playing with Jordan,  and I'm hoping they can out-do the success that Graydon had with Justin this time last year.  Well I will be back with the draw as soon as its announced.  I have added a link, to the doubles petition that has been running for some time now, if any of you haven't already signed it, please do so.

14/8/04  Graydon arrived in Cincy last night.  The draw for the doubles has been made, and Graydon and Dominik will play Justin Gimelstob/Rich Leach in the first round.. could be a tricky one, but Graydon knows Justins game really well as they played alot together with great success at the end of last year.  I am away for the week, so please keep each other updated with results on the message board.. it's all gone a little quiet on there lately!  Best of luck Graydon... lets see if we can make another jump from 30 to higher!

12/8/05  Well the No.1 Seeds took out Graydon and Travis, but only by a close margin... After Bjorkman/Mirnyi took the first set 6-4, the second set saw no breaks of serve and so it meant the second set would be decided by a tie break, they traded mini breaks, but when it was 6 all the rain came.. It didn't last long, but it only took 3 mins back out on court and the match was all over.. Final score 6-4,7-6(7).  Graydon and Travis served 8 aces and only 1 double fault.. but didn't achieve one break point on Bjorkman/Mirnyi's service games.  Next week Graydon will be playing In Cincinnati with Dominik Hrbaty.. and a couple of weeks down the line the US Open with Jordan Kerr.  Another Congrats to Graydon this week as he is now at 30 In the doubles rankings.. that career high just keeps getting higher.. Go Graydon!

12/8/05  Graydon and Travis will face Bjorkman/Mirnyi in the quarter finals this afternoon on Court BN, it's the first match of the day on that court with a 1pm local start time.. I'll be sure to be glued to the realtime scoreborad on the Rogers cup homepage!  Best of luck guys

11/8/05  With a very late entry into Montreal Masters this week, Graydon teamed up with Travis to take the alternates position after the withdrawal of Llodra/Santoro, who were seeded, so this meant GO/TP had a first round bye.  They have just finished their first match of the tournament against G.Etlis/M.Rodrigez on court BN and came out winners with a 4-6,7-6(2),7-6(4) scoreline...Yeah! Next round opponents to be decided later in the day between Bjorkman/Mirnyi or T.Johnansson/Youzhny.

5/8/05  W.Black/K.Ullyett def. Graydon and Jordan 3-6,7-5,6-3 in another evening match in Washington DC.  I'm not sure on next weeks plans as yet.. But keep your eye on the draw for the Masters In Montreal. I'll be back with details when I have them.

4/8/05  Graydon and Jordan got off to a good start in Washington taking out J.Erlich/A.Ram in the first round in a very late match last night 6-4,2-6,6-3.  Their next opponents are the No.2 seeds W.Black/K.Ullyett, it is scheduled for court 1, 3rd match on after a 4pm start time.  The doubles early entry list has been posted for the masters series event in Cincinnati and Graydon is on there teaming up with Dominik Hrybaty again.

2/8/05 Career High ranking of 32 for Graydon this week. A couple of days late posting the Washington draw.. Graydon is playing this week with Jordan Kerr, and they will fact J.Erlich/A.Ram in the first round, who reached the final in LA on the weekend, but lost out to Leach/Macphie.  The match isn't scheduled for today so, I will be back with tomorrows OOP as soon as its out.  Can I ask if anyone recorded Graydon and Paul's title win In Indy, and if anyone can do me a copy?  I would be really grateful if this is a possibility, send me an e-mail ~ Jules

28/7/05 I guess I can't always have the results that I want to wake up to! When I checked in with the tournament website this morning I see that Keifer did decide not to play (he retired in his singles match due to a throat problem), so the Alternate team got to play J.Hernych/I.Karlovic and they defeated Graydon and Dominik in straight sets.. Tie Break sets 7-6(1),7-6(3). Bad luck guys.  Check in again on the weekend as I should have the last of my photos back and added to the site ~ Jules.

27/7/05 Graydon and Dominik will play their first round match today on the Grandstand cout against N.Keifer/M.Ancic, it's the 4th match of the day after an 11.30 am local start time.

25/7/05  Double Congrats to Graydon, for winning his first title of the year and secondly as the rankings came out today, reaching his career high ranking of 35.  He'll be travelling to LA today, so I'll be back with the OOP when its out.

24/7/05 Congratulations Graydon and Paul! The first title of the year for Graydon came on an extremely hot day in Indianapolis, where they took on the number 1 seeds Aspelin/Perry and won the match 6-2,3-1 with Aspelin/Perry retiring in the second set after being broken. I'm not sure as yet what was the nature of the retirement, but will have some details soon I hope.  I'm so happy for Graydon, I know its what he's been waiting for, and I spoke to him earlier today and wished him luck... and they have done it... So thats it for tonight from me.. Well done guys! Well played and Congratulations again.

24/7/05  So I couldn't stay awake to watch the scoreboard last night.. so another pleasant surprise when I woke up this morning! Graydon and Paul def D.Hrbaty/N.Kiefer 7-6(2),6-4 which takes them into the final today, where they will face the No.1 Seeds Simon Aspelin/Todd Perry... You Can do it guys... The match follows the all American singles final between Dent and Ginepri, so the match would be due to start anytime after 3.30 local time. I'll be watching the scoreboard and cheering point by point.  Next weeks draw is out for the Mercedes Benz cup in Los Angeles and Graydon will be teaming up with Dominik Hrbaty for this one and in their first round they will meet Mario Ancic/Nicolas Kiefer.

23/7/05 Graydon and Paul will play their semi-final against Hrbaty/Kiefer today on the stadium court last match of the day, with an estimated start time of 5.30.  I have more photos back, so check into the gallery sections over the weekend as I intend to load them all later today.  Also the message board has reached capacity almost, so I am going to have to do a little sorting.. will remove posts with match results as all listed in the results section, but will keep your messages to Graydon.

22/7/05  A close hard fought match, which brought Graydon and Paul out on top without the need of a 3rd set.  The final result being 7-6(3),7-6(5) over Jan-Michael Gambill/Taylor Dent.  The semi final will see them face D.Hrbaty/N.Kiefer and that match will be played on Saturday.

21/7/05  Graydon and Paul will play their Quarter final match against Jan-Mike and Taylor tonight on the Grandstand court. The match was scheduled to be the 5th match out on that court with a 12.30 start time.. so got to be looking to a 7pm local time start at the very earliest... you can follow the match on the real time scoreboard.. it may end up being past my bed time being in the UK, but hope for a positive result in the morning!

19/7/05  Woo Hoo.. Good result boys! Graydon and Paul def. J.Thomas/J.Kerr 6-3,7-6(4) who were the defending champions.  I was watching the real time scoreboard and was very pleased with what I was seeing.  The next round they will face Jan-Michael Gambill and Taylor Dent.. My guess a night session match at this stage.. This would be a match I'd really like to watch!

19/7/05  Graydon and Paul are scheduled to play the first match of the day on court 4 which has a 12.30 local time start.  All the best for this one boys.. you can do it!  Roland Garros photos have been added in Gallery 2.

17/7/05 So the draw is out and Graydon and Paul are seeded 2 for this tournament, their first round opponents are the defending champions Jim Thomas/Jordan Kerr... who you will all remember was who Graydon and Travis played against in the final of Newport. Jim and Jordan missed out on being seeded by one place, so this is a very tough draw.
If anybody is in Indy this week and can take photos I would love to see some..

16/7/05 Well the doubles draw for Indy is out tomorrow, Graydon will be playing with Paul Hanley this week and I think seeded 3.  He has climbed back up to 45 in the doubles rankings thanks to that final appearance in Newport last week.  I have finally got some photos back from all my tournaments this summer, so will be adding the ones from Roland Garros tomorrow.. Surbiton, Nottingham and Wimbledon to follow in the coming weeks.

10/7/05  After a 3 set singles final it was time for Graydon, Travis, Jordan and Jim to take to the court.. All of the guys on court Graydon has played doubles with at different times.  I hate it when finals come down to tie break sets... and that is exactly what this one did.. it couldn't have been closer.  Unfortunatley the result was finalist not winner on this occasion as Kerr/Thomas def. Oliver/Parrott 7-6(5),7-6(5).  Considering Graydon and Travis haven't played together since March when they played In Miami it's a good result, but I'm sure that's not going through your mind when you have lost such a close match... But it is a good result.. a postive start to the US season, even if this event is on grass not hard court... Enjoy your week off Graydon and I hope all is ok at home when you get there after Florida was hit by Hurricane Dennis.

10/7/05  With rain knocking out a whole day of play in Newport on Friday the matches eventually got played yesterday.  A great result, Graydon and Travis def D.Bracciali/U.Vico 7-6(5),6-2. So the final it is.. against the defending champions Jordan Kerr/Jim Thomas, who were scheduled to play two matches yesterday, they won their first and had a walk over in thier semi-final, into the final.  So the doubles final will start after the singles final is completed, singles starting at 2pm.   So best of luck guys..

7/7/05  With a 6-1,6-4 win today Graydon and Travis head into the semi-finals.  Well played guys! Tomorrow they will face D.Bracciali/U.Vico from Italy.  The match is due out 4th on Centre court after an 11 am start.

7/7/05  Graydon and Travis are first up on court No.1 today with a 12 noon local time start and their opponents are the Slovak pairing of K.Kucera/M.Mertinak... We'll be cheering for you as always boys!

6/7/05 Graydon and Travis were pushed to 3 sets in their first round clash with S.Oudsema/R.Ram winning evetually 7-6(7),6-7(6),6-3.  Their next round will be played on Thursday and their opponents are yet to be decided with thier match being played today.  Could everyone take a glance at the 'Futures of doubles' page added to the site, and hopefully eveyone will show their support.

4/7/05  So It's more grass court tennis this week as Graydon is playing in Newport, Rhode Island and is seeded 1 with Travis as his partner.  They play their first match today on court No.1. 3rd and final match of the day, around 5pm local time. They will face the WC pairing  of S.Oudsema/R.Ram from the U.S. Good luck boys.

29/6/05  WIMBLEDON ROUND UP.. So I have been at Wimbledon for the past 8 days and unable to update whilst I was there..  Graydon and Jared played their first round doubles on Wednesday on court 13.  It always looked to be a tough match and turned out to be a tough match.. Unfortunately Woodbridge/Bhupathi  def. GO/JP 6-4,6-2,6-7(5),6-3. Graydon was serving really well during the match and didn't have a service game broken until the end of the last set.  Graydon told me later that he was going to be playing Mixed doubles with Maria Kirilenko starting on Friday.  Friday morning Graydon was out on court 5 with Mario Ancic warming up as Mario had a match on a show court later that day and they are allowed to use the main courts for practise..  I would so much would love to watch Graydon play singles at some point!  Anyway the late afternoon rain washed away any hope of getting Graydons mixed doubles played that day, so that match, along with many many others were moved until Saturday.  The match was scheduled for 4th match on Court 11 and although it was cloudy and dull all day the rain stayed away.. The match didn't take long at all, Graydon was serving great again and Maria is a  good little player.. they beat P.Pala/G.Navratilova 6-3,6-2 and seemed to be having fun out there together.  Sunday was my Birthday and I met up with Graydon in the evening.. I've missed his singing this last week!   Monday saw another last match of the day scheduled for Graydon and Maria, this time out on court 18, the were facing D.Hrbaty/E.Likhovtseva. The match started about 6.30 on a lovely sunny evening and was very evenly matched in the first set and it went to tie break, Graydon and Maria just had the edge and took it 8-6. Graydon and Maria had an early break of serve in the second set to give them the advantage, but soon got broken back to even up the set again.. then another break meant that they lost the second set 6-3.  The third and deciding set didn't go as hoped at all and a double break of serve to Hrbaty/Likhovtseva meant that Graydons Wimbledon experience was over for another year.. Final match result 6-7(6),6-3,6-2.  Graydon was going to be heading to Sweden next week to play the tournament in Bastad, but the plan now may be to head to Newport.. I'll keep you posted.

18/6/05  I didn't get a chance to update last night, as by the time I got home from Nottingham I was ready for my bed!  The fact that I am back from Nottingham at all, tells you that the result didn't go the way that we all wanted.  The semi-final was played yesterday afternoon, the first doubles match of the day, the conditions were pretty good, the sun was shining and it wasn't too windy.  Graydon served to open the match and get the first points on the board, but by the 3rd game Jared's serve was broken and it gave Aspelin/Perry that important lead, they took the first set 6-4. The second set went to tie break, and our guys pulled the score back to one set all, taking the TB 7-3. The final set was as close as the others but with a break right at the end of the set Aspelin/Perry took the match 6-4,6-7(3),6-3.
Graydon will be heading back down to London today to start his preparation for Wimbledon..  I hope to update all my photo pages in the coming weeks, as I have a whole pile of films to get developed.. French Open, Surbiton, Queens, Notts...

17/6/05  On Wednesday Graydon and Jared had a delayed start to the day as the rain in Nottingham just kept on coming.. After coming out for a warm up at about 3pm, the match was about to start when the rain came yet again... Finally the match came on late afternoon on No.2 court.. GO/JP took the first set 6-3, and had a match point in the second, but it went to a third set and tie break to decide the match.. Final result Graydon and Jared def. S.Prieto/C.Haggard 6-3,6-7(6),7-6(5) So it was a good result for Graydons Birthday after all.. it was a bit like being on a rollercoaster that match!! The semi final is being played today on centre court after both singles semis with a 1.30 start time, so weather permitting (and the forcast is good for once!) I would think the match would be played around 5pm local time. They face Aspelin/Perry who are seeded 1, so lots of positive vibes heading over to Nottingham please.
The Wimbledon doubles draw has been made, Graydon and Jared will face the No.6 seeds T.Woodbridge/M.Bhupathi in the first round..

15/6/05  Happy Birthday Graydon.. Hope its a great day.. Birthday wishes from us all.

14/6/05  Graydon and Jared had a convincing win against the british pairing of Marray/Kiernan today out on court 2 at Nottingham Tennis centre, breaking in the opening game of the first set, they took the set 6-4 and then went on to take the second set 6-2. Well Played boys. Their next round opponents are Haggard/Prieto and may be played tomorrow, check the official site for OOP.

11/6/05 The doubles draw is out for Nottingham, Graydon and Jared will play the British wild cards J.Marray/D.Kiernan in the first round. I'm guessing a Tuesday start for the doubles from my memories of last year.. All the best guys, I'll see you there.

11/6/05  This result is from Wednesday, A.Clement/S.Grosjean def. Graydon and Jared in three very tight tie break sets 6-7(4),7-6(2),7-6(4). I wasn't there to see the match unfortunately, as I had already pre arranged to go to Liverpool for the Liverpool international tennis tournament for a couple of days.. but that looked like it could have gone either way.. Tough one guys.  Nottingham next week, and I will be there for this one promise!

4/6/05  The draw is out for the Stella Artois championships this week, Graydon and Jared are seeded 8 so recieve a first round bye.  They will play the winner of the match between Clement/Grosjean or Mahut/Mathieu, so either way their opponents will be french... I will be in London for Monday and Tuesday, so I'm really hoping that the doubles will start on Monday, so that Graydons match will get played on Tuesday, I need to take some photos and add match reports for you. Its this sites first birthday on Monday ~ so if you feel like leaving some messages on the message board Graydon and I would love to read them.

3/6/05  Graydon and Robbie played their first round match yesterday and took the match in 2 tie break sets against I.Karlovic/A.Bogdanovic. Then almost immediately were back out on court against the Barker Brothers in their QF match, they won the first set 6-4,lost the second on tie break and the match was suspended due to poor light with Graydon and Robbie a break down at 2-1.  The match was resumed today and I was there for it, but the match didn't get back on track and they lost the final set 6-2.  I think I managed to console Graydon a little after the match with Krispy Kreme doughnts ~ well they put a smile on his face!  He will now be moving into London and will be playing at Queens this next week with Jared again, draw should be out on Sunday.

2/6/05  Due to rain in Surbiton not many matches got played yesterday.  So things are running a bit behind as you can imagine, The doubles will get underway today but the matches aren't on the order of play as they will be played when the singles matches are done and courts become available.  All courts have at least 3 singles matches on first, so expect it to be at least 4pm  before any doubles gets underway.

31/5/05  Paris.. what can I say about Paris, great city, great weather, great clothes.. but what you really want to know is about the tennis... Graydon and Jared played P.Srichaphan/G.Galimberti last Wednesday out on court 11 after a ladies doubles match. The first set was lost with a single break of serve, the second was taken on a very strong tie break, so it was all down to the third set to decide.  It was a pretty long match in pretty hot conditions, but unfortunately they lost 9-7.  The match could have gone either way, and it just didn't go the way we all hoped.
So a week has passed, and Graydon arrived in the UK yesterday, in a very rainy and miserable London, but within a couple of hours, the blue skies had appeared and the sun was out.. could it be summer?? (I'll keep you posted!).  Its the first time Graydon has played Surbiton, and my first time to the tournament too, its a nice little event.  Its a ladies and mens event, so the main draw for the men started today, but Graydon plays his first round doubles tomorrow with Robbie Koenig and they are playing I.Karlovic/A.Bogdanovic.  Its scheduled out 4th match on court B, so about 5pm local time, I'll be back with the results after the match.  Best of luck guys.

20/5/05  Graydon has arrived in Paris and will spend the next few days practising at the courts at Roland Garros.  I hope to catch up with him in the next day or two as I am off to Paris in the morning... Lots of positive vibes this week everyone! - Jules

18/5/05  Bad news... Knowle/Melzer def. Graydon and Jared in 3 sets.. the final result was 6-4,5-7,6-1.  I haven't heard from Graydon since he arrived in Austria, but I hope to catch up with him in the next few days before I head over to Paris for the French open.  I'm sure between Elina and Fee they will keep the message board updated (thanks in advance girls!) with Graydons progress at the French open. I will try and get to internet access as much as I can, but we all know with long days at the tennis there may not always be time.. so keep checking the message board for updates.

17/5/05  Centre court match scheduled for Graydon and Jared tonight against the home team of Knowle/Melzer. The match has a not before 6pm start time.  We need to be cheering for Graydon from all around the world.. as playing a team with the crowd behind them is always a challenge.. They can do it though.. best of luck guys.

16/5/05  Well I go away for one day.. and when I return not only has the match been played on the first day in Austria, but it has been won comprehensively!  Graydon and Jared def.  J.Thomas/C.Rochus 6-2,6-1. The next round sees them facing the Austrian pairing of Julien knowle/Jurgen Melzer as they took out the number 4 seeded pair Allegro/Kohlmann yesterday.

14/5/05  Well its been a quiet few weeks with Graydon being back at home and not playing tennis.. But the draw is out for the BTM Power Grand Prix in St.Polten.  As I said before Graydon is playing with Jared Palmer and in the first round they face J.Thomas/C.Rochus, who are not a usual pairing at all, but after watching some of Christophe's matches from this weeks tournament in Hamburg, where he reached his first Masters series semi final in singles.. he is one to watch out for on the clay!  I will be back with the order of play.. Hope Graydon has arrived in Austria ok and is adjusting to the new time zone.

6/5/05  Had a good chat with Graydon yesterday, he is back home in Florida, and his next tournament will be St.Polten the week after next. He will be playing with Jared Palmer again for this one and also the following week at Roland Garros.  Graydon has found another quote that he loves, so I thought I would inculde it here.   The road to happiness lies in two simple principles: find what it is that interests you and that you can do well, and when you find it, put your whole soul into it- every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have. John D. Rockerfeller III.    I think that says it all really....

3/5/05 Sorry I don't have much news for you today.. Graydon isn't playing this week - so I guess its a week of more clay court preparation for the next few weeks heading into the French Open.  Hope to pin Graydon down at some point this week and get him to do another diary entry for us all... Will be back with news when I have it ~ Enjoy your week.

29/5/05  M.Ancic/J.Knowle def. Graydon and Jared 6-3,1-6,6-2 this afternoon in Munich.  I haven't spoken to Graydon for a few days so at the moment am unsure about his plans for next week, as soon as I find out I'll let you know.  He took part in a Pro-Am event at the BMW open on Sunday before the tounament started along with Jared, and several other atp players, Thanks to Kat for the article.

26/4/05  Well I guess the rain must have stayed away from Munich today, Graydon and Jared won their match beating Andreev/Srichaphan 7-6,6-4, Well played guys... They aren't scheduled to play tomorrow, so next round will be on Thursday.

25/4/05  Well it was a complete wash out today in Munich, no matches were completed in the main draw, singles or doubles.  So Graydons match has been re-scheduled for tomorrow, still on court 8 but is now the last match of the day, I would guess not before 5pm CET at the very earliest, but with the weather forcast It wouldn't surprise me if we saw this match being played on Wednesday...

25/4/05  Well its going to be a quick start this week with Graydons first round doubles being played today... Their match is scheduled to be on court 8, 2nd match after a 12pm CET start.  There does appear to be a live scoring link on the webpage.. but my German is useless and I can't seem to see a way to work it... There is also web tv for this tournament but as to which courts it will be covering I'm afraid I don't know that either! Best of luck Graydon and Jared.

24/4/05  Graydon arrived in Munich late last night, so is now settling into a new time zone and the European weather... This week he's playing with Jared Palmer and they are up against Igor Andreev/Paradorn Srichaphan in the first round.  So send all your positive winning vibes to Munich this week, I'll be back with OOP when its out.

21/4/05  Not the result I was hoping to see this morning when I turned the computer on... Unfortunately.  R.Koenig/B.Mcphie def Graydon and Jordan 7-6,6-4.  I don't know much more about the match other than the result as I don't know anyone there this week and haven't spoken to Graydon yet.  So its next stop Europe... Munich next week for the BMW open and a new partner, Jared Palmer.

20/4/05  Graydon and Jordan are due out on the Woodforest court 3rd match on after a 4pm start, around 7.30  local time at a guess, their opponents are B.Mcphie/R.Koenig. Best of luck Guys

16/4/05  K.Vliegen/M.Fyrstenberg def Graydon and Jeff 6-3,6-1... So now Graydon heads to Houston for his last tournament in the States before the European summer.  The draw is out and Graydon and Jordan Kerr are seeded 3 and in the first round they will face R.Koenig/B.Mcphie.. just looking at the draw sheet you will notice a couple of WC's announced in the shape of Agassi/Courier and also Roddick is getting back out there on the doubles court too for this one.  I'll be back with the OOP when its out.. Enjoy your weekend everyone.

15/4/05  Graydon and Jeff will play today 3rd match after a 12 O'clock start on Court 7. Their opponents are M.Fyrstenberg/K.Vliegen.. Best of luck guys.

12/4/05  Graydon and Jeff def. F.Dancevic/D.Vemic 5-7,6-1,6-2 this afternoon in Bermuda.  The other news I have is that the entry lists are out for the coming weeks tournaments.. Next week Graydon is playing Houston with Jordan Kerr... The week after he'll be heading to Europe and will be playing the BMW open in Munich with Jared Palmer.

11/4/05 F.Saretta/M.Daniel def. Graydon and Jeff 6-2,6-4 on Friday in Mexico city.  I'm a few days late with the updates as I have been without an internet connection.  Graydon is now in Bermuda and is playing with Jeff Coetzee again this week, they face a qualifying pair in the first round not decided as yet. He has just been looking through some of the photos that I took in Indian Wells and they all seemed to get an approval! so check out the Pacific Life open page in Gallery 2. Also if anyone has any questions for Graydon I really want to update the 'on the spot' page... so get thinking and I'll pin him down...

8/4/05  Friday it is then.. and and early start at that, I guess due to the fact that Flavio Saretta also has a singles match to play today. Graydon and Jeff play first the first match on court 11 with a 10am local time start... Please check the message board for the result as I can't get to a computer to post the result here.

7/4/05  Graydon and Jeff head into the semi Final with a 6-1,6-4 win over A.Garcia/S.Roitman.  Their opponents for the semi will be the Brazilian team of M.Daniel/F.Saretta. I'm not sure if this match will be played tomorrow as the order of play isn't out yet.  Some of you may have found some new photos added to the site, just a small selection of My Aus open photos in photo Gallery 2. I hope to have all photos uploaded from Australia, Indian Wells and Miami over the weekend.. be sure to check back then.

6/4/05  I like to wake up in the morning to find good positive tennis results.. Well played guys. Graydon and Jeff def. Ferreiro/Massa 6-3,6-3.  They will now face A.Garcia/S.Roitman in the next round, the match to be played on Thursday.  New photo pages to be loaded very soon.

5/4/05  Graydon and Jeff are the 4th match after a 12pm start out on court 12, their opponents are Franco Ferreiro/Edgardo Massa, two south American guys that last played doubles together In Oct 03. No scoreboards at this tourney, so I will have a result for you when I wake in the morning!

3/4/05  Graydon has arrived safely in Mexico City... and the doubles draw doesn't seem to have been made yet, but Graydon is playing this week with Jeff Coetzee. Graydon and Jeff last played together in Aachen, Germany in November last year where they reached the Semi Finals.  Will be back with draw when its up..

29/3  Todd Woodbridge and Mahesh Bhupathi have just beaten Graydon and Travis 6-3,6-4, It was a single break of serve in each set. I thought from watching the scoreboard, the match looked very even, not many of the games being taken to break point on either side.  So I guess Graydon will take a few days now to spend with his family in Miami, before heading off to Mexico City next week, which he has chosen to play because he hasn't been there before... Not sure who he is playing with yet as I forgot to ask!  Have a good few days Graydon...

29/3  Graydon and Travis will meet Todd Woodbridge/Mahesh Bhupathi  first match on Court 1 this morning with an 11am start time.  Woodbridge/Bhupathi may be a relatively new pairing, but are two extremely experienced doubles players, and they have won the doubles title in Sydney in January of this year playing together.... We'll be cheering for you as always from our respective corners of the world Graydon!

27/3  YEAH!! Graydon and Travis def. Mardy Fish/James Blake 6-2,4-6,7-6(7-4). The match was 117 mins long out there on court 7.  I had to watch the scoreboard here back in the UK as my travels are over for now.  Graydon and Travis had 65% of first serves in, served 3 aces and had 5 double faults overall. Next round opponents will be T.Woodbridge/M.Bhupathi, not sure when it will be played as yet.  Before I left Miami yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Graydons Mom and Dad, Thank you for all your great comments about the site, hope to see you again soon, it was lovely meeting you.  Best of luck next round guys..

26/3 Graydon arrived in Miami on Thursday night after having a week at home... its very hot and humid here at the moments with a constant temperature of around 90... In the first round Graydon and Travis will play James Blake/Mardy Fish who had a wild card into the event. The match isn't being played today, So I will be back with the schedule of play for tomorrow.  In the meantime Graydon is working hard on the practise courts...

17/3/05  Allegro/Kohlmann def. Graydon and Jordan yesterday in a late afternoon match here in Indian Wells 6-4,6-3  All players played really well, with only a single break of serve in each set.. As I update this Graydon is on his way to the airport and taking a few days at home before heading on down to Miami for the Nasdaq 100 open.  He and Travis Parrott have got direct entry in for this event, and I believe the doubles draw will be made on Thursday or Friday next week, with the first round matches starting on Saturday.  Its been fun catching up with Graydon this week, looking forward to updating all the photo pages for you as soon as I get back to the UK and get photos developed...  Thanks again everyone for dropping into our site, Graydon apreciates everyones support.

16/3/05  Graydon and Jordan will be playing their second round match today, 5th match on court 3, so I am guessing a start time of 5pm in Indian Wells.  I'll be at the match cheering them on as always, so should have a match report for you tomorrow night...

13/3/05 Excellent result.... Graydon and Jordan were supposed to be playing on court 3, 6th match after a 10am start.... after a very hot but dusty day in Indian wells, and all matches looking like they were over running, the match was changed at last minute to Court 5. The boys practised for about half hour before the match and were looking really good and then took that good form over into their match against Pavel/Prieto with an immediate break in the first game. The end result was a very satisfying 6-2,6-4.  Next round will be played on Tuesday and their opponents are Y.Allegro/M.Kohlmann, who today knocked out Woodbridge/Bhupathi.

11/3/05  He's in!  How the life of a doubles player changes minute by minute, hour by hour... at the end of the day yesterday, it was I thought 100% certain that Graydon wasn't coming, but as I run into Scott this morning, I was greeted with a 'he's on his way'..... there have been some changes in the doubles draw, and obviously a withdrawal, so Graydon and Jordan Kerr, are in... I have the doubles draw here in front of me and they face Andrei Pavel/Sebastian Prieto in the first round, which could be played on Sunday.  I'll be catching up with Graydon at somepoint tomorrow I'm sure, and will be back with an order of play as soon as there is one....

10/3/05  So I am in Indian Wells at the Pacific Life Open and right up until today there was a possibility that Graydon could have been heading this way aswell, but after speaking with him this morning and then catching up with Scott his coach, who is here in Indian Wells at the moment, he definately didn't get in, by one place in the end... So the Pro challenger in Sunrise Florida it is, as of next monday.  Graydon is due to play with Jeff Coetzee.  The entry list is out for the Nasdaq 100 Masters series in Miami the following week and Graydon and Travis have a direct entry there so thats great news...  I would think I will be heading over to Florida myself by Tuesday, so hope to have some match reports and a whole bunch of photos to add to the site.

27/2/05  Ok, so I am a whole week behind with results, as I am in Hawaii and stuggling to get online... So Scottsdale, Graydon has been playing this week with Travis. Round of 16 saw them def A.Fisher/C.Haggard 6-3,6-7(5),7-5. QF saw them def. Y/Allegro/M.Kohlmann 6-3,6-4. In the semis they took W.Arthurs/P.Hanley to three sets but lost the match in the end 6-3,5-7,6-4.  Graydon now has a couple of weeks off, as its Davis cup and the start of the Masters series in Indian Wells which he didn't make it into the draw unfortunatley. So the next tourney will be in Sunrise, Florida and its a challenger starting 14 March.. It looks like I could be there as well for this one so I will keep you posted...

20/2/05  Few updates as I am a couple of days behind.. Graydon hasn't been feeling 100% this last week, but he and Kevin d. Sauliner/Carraz 7-6(4),6-3, the next round wasn't quite as successful against Aspelin/Perry as they lost 6-3,6-2.. Aspelin/Perry are now heading into the final tomorrow.  So on to Scottsdale, and Graydon will team up with Travis Parrott, good to see these guys playing together again!  Their first round opponents are A.Fisher/C.Haggard... Travis should know Ashleys game fairly well as they play doubles together on a regular basis... Hope to have some new photos for you all soon....

16/2/05  Graydon and Kevin will play today on the Grandstand court, 3rd match after a 10.30am start, against Sauliner/Carraz... there should be live scoring on the tournament website.. GO BOYS!

14/2/05  Graydon and Jurgen Melzer lost to Jan-Mike and Robby 6-2,6-3 in San Jose last Thursday... I am so sorry to be so late with my updates, but I promise as soon as I return to the UK all will return to normal!  This week Graydon will team up with Kevin Kim, who I last watch play when he partnered Jan-Mike at the Aussie open.. I have high hopes for this week... their first round opponents are G.Carraz/C.Saulnier, which I think will be a tricky one, but hopefully the home country crowd will be able to help with their support... All the best...

9/2/05  Graydon and Jurgen had a very close match tonight but came away with a good win over Leach/Mcphie 7-6(5),7-6(3).... Excellent news.  In the next round Graydon will face opponents he knows very well, but much more so from the same side as the net as opposed to the opponents side. They will face Jan Michael Gambill and Robby Ginepri, the match will be played tomorrow, courtside with a not before 6pm start.... I know Fee will be at the match, so hopefully she'll add a bit on the message board, when she can... I would love to be at this match! All the best guys

7/2/05  Graydon is in San Jose this week, and has teamed up with Jurgen Melzer, their first round opponents are Leach/Mcphie.. He is already in San Jose as I heard from him earlier this morning, Hope to have more news for you later, but they won't be playing until Wednesday.. All the best boys.

3/3/05  Graydon and Ashley lost their match 7-5,6-4.. San Jose next week... onwards and upwards...

1/2/05 I'm really sorry everybody about my lack of updates and everything, I didn't realise how much hassle it was going to be getting into internet cafes on my travels, so you'll have to hang in there with me! Anyway, Graydon has been home now for the week since he left Melbourne, and this week was planning to play doubles with Justin in Delray, but due to Justins injury a change of partner was needed, so he is playing with Ashley Fisher for this one.. (Get better soon Justin). They will face D.Van Scheppingen/P.Wessles in the first round, which looks like it will be played on Wednesday. All the best boys..

20/1/2005  R.Koeing/C.Haggard def. Graydon and Justin 3-6,6-2,6-3... I'm beginning to think that maybe I'm a bad luck charm!  I was obviously at the match, and it all started so well, Graydon and Justin won the toss and elected to serve, Graydon served 2 aces in his opening service game, and was playing really well.  They won the first set 6-3, and then broke immediately in the second, but were broken straight back.  Eventually losing the set 6-2, the longest game in the match was the 4th in the Third set.  Graydon is doing ok, I have spoken to him today, and he will probably be leaving Melbourne tomorrow, but if not on Saturday...  So onwards and upwards... More news when I have it - Jules

18/1 Well tomorrow is the day, and court 14 is the place to be seen! Graydon and Justin will open the days play against Koenig/Haggard.  Best of luck as always guys - and I'll be there rooting for you both!

18/1  Well the doubles draw isn't out for another couple of days according to the Aus open website, and despite being here, nobody is any more help than that either.. so I will be back with it as soon as its out. I haven't seen Graydon yet, but we keep trading voicemail messages.. so hopefully today will change that.  Keep checking in..

13/1/05  Unfortunately the quarter final doubles match didn't go Graydons way..  Aspelin/Perry def Oliver/Pala 6-1,6-2... I haven't heard from Graydon for a few days, but would assume that he is on his way to Melbourne to start practicing with Justin for next weeks Aussie Open. I am on my way to Melbourne tomorrow so hope to have some news for you all soon.

11/1/05  Sorry for the lack of updates, its been a busy few days, and I am jumping on and off the computer in the hotel in Sydney.. anyway, the messageboard has been pretty well updated, as always thanks!  Graydon didn't get into the main draw as he lost 6-2,6-2 in the last round of Qualifying to Jan Hernych.  But today Graydon and Petr Pala won their doubles against Jordan Kerr/ Paul Hanley who were seeded 3. The score was 6-3,7-6(4).. well played boys!

9/1/05  I am not loving the official Auckland site as they never update anything! but Graydon advanced through to the last round of singles qualies witha 6-0,6-0 win over J.Hooper.. way to go Graydon. It would be great to see you in the main draw... All the best in the final round and for the doubles.. no OOP is up yet.. but hopefully by the morning there should be.

9/1/05 Thanks for updating the board guys. The doubles draw is out and Graydon is playing with Petr Pala this week, and in the first round they will face Jordan Kerr/Paul Hanley who are seeded 3. As far as the singles qualies are concerned, Graydon advanced to round 2 without having to play, as his opponent was entered into the main draw. He now faces J.Hooper a New Zealander who was given a wild card.. all the best Graydon...

8/1/05  Graydon is in the Qualifying singles draw for the Heineken open in Auckland.. he has D.Sanchez in the first round who is the number one seed.. If anyone can find the result for this please post on the message board.. so best of luck Graydon.. I'll be back with the doubles draw when its posted..

6/1/05  Not the start to the year that Graydon was looking for I know.. Keifer/Stepanek defeated Graydon and Florian Mayer 6-1,6-3 last night.  So I guess its on to Auckland now and a more successful second week back on the tour.

4/1/05  Graydon and Florian are on the schedule for the last match on court 7 tomorrow.. with a not before 5pm local time start. As I sit here in Perth, waiting to watch Germany v Italy at the Hopman cup... wish I was in Adelaide really!  I will hopefully be able to check the scores and post whilst I am here again tomorrow, Everything crossed for a positive start to 2005...

3/1/05 Well I have just checked the order of play for tomorrow, No sign of our boy playing tomorrow.. so I guess it will be Wednesday then!.. as usual I'll be back with times etc when its announced.

2/1/2005  Happy New year everyone.  Well we start the year with a change of plans, as Graydon is now playing doubles with Florian Mayer in Adelaide..  They aren't on the schedule for tomorrow, so I would guess that it would be a Tuesday start for the boys, they have got R.Stepanek/N.Keifer as their first round opponents.. Good luck, and if anyone is going, please take some photos for the site!

24/12  MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE... hope you all have a lovely christmas and a very happy new year.  I have heard from Graydon and as things stand at the moment, his first tournament will be the Australian mens hardcourts in Adelaide, he will be playing there with Mario Ancic. Next up looks to be the Heineken Open in Auckland and Petr Pala looks to be his partner for that one.  Then the big one, The Australian Open and I'm pleased to say that he'll be back playing with Justin Gimelstob - Yeah!
Graydon has been back training for a couple of weeks now and back at his home in Tampa, but will be spending Christmas with his family at his parents home. I have added a photo that was taken at the Swingtime charity event in south Florida a couple of weeks ago. Hope to have some more photos for you very soon.
Feel free to leave your good luck messages for Graydon for the new season on the message board as I know he loves to read through them.  See you in 2005.. Thanks for dropping by - Jules

3/12  I thought an update was needed although I have no real news for you all.  Gradyons ranking held at #58 and that is just slightly down on last years year ending ranking of 53.. But with the excellent last quarter to the year that Graydon had.. I know he is ready to go in 2005 and get that ranking back up to his career best of 37(15/9/2003) and even past it.. we know he can do it!The schedule for next year is still not ready.. but as soon as I have some info for you it will be here.. If Graydon is going to be starting the year with Justin Gimelstob again, then his first tournament would be Chennai India, as Justins name is on the player acceptance list... we'll have to wait and see.  This week Graydon is taking a vacation.. packed his bags and is off camping and enjoying the great outdoors.. Hope he's having fun.  Is everyone ready for chrstmas??

22/11 Sorry for the slow update on the homepage, but I know the match scores have been taken care of on the board,(thanks girls!) Graydon and Justin lost a really tight final on Saturday night to Baker/Ram 7-6(5),7-6(7).. I was away and had no access to the net, so was being kept informed by text (thanks Gill).  So that was the last match of the season for Graydon and he is now back at home in Florida.. I had a breif chat with him last night and he is so pleased to be home.. So hopefully over the next week or so I should have some new photos for you, even though the season may be over, don't forget to check in every once in a while for updates.. Will have the 2005 schedule for you asap.. but in the mean time, Thank you all for your support this year, we've had over 5000 hits now.. Also huge Thank you to Graydon for some excellent matches and giving me loads to write about and for just being a great person! - Jules

20/11  Weekend round-up!  As you all know by now, the Champaign Challenger has been another successful tournament for Graydon... in the past couple of days, he and Justin have defeated Coupe/Marshall 6-7 (4), 7-6 (5), 6-3, and then followed that up with another win, over Ratiwatana/Ratiwatana 7-6  (5), 6-4 - this of course leads them into another final which will be played today, vs Baker/Ram. Good Luck guys... we've got our fingers firmly crossed!! (Also a quick shout out and good luck too to Graydon's doubles partner Justin who's playing in the singles final vs Delgado!!)

18/11  Graydon and Justin won their first round match last night against Vahaly/Reynolds 3-6,7-5,6-4. They will be playing the late match again today, last match on court 1 with a start time of around 7pm local time, their opponents are Brandon Coupe/Jason Marshall, so its another all American match tonight.. Best of luck.

17/11  Graydon and Justin will play the last match of the day on court No.1 today.. I would estimate around 8pm local time.. Its an all American match so I would think there would be a pretty noisy crowd there.. Good luck Guys

15/11  Graydon is heading back to the USA but not for his vacation.. He is playing in Champaign Challenger In Illinois, partnered with Justin again.. they are the #1 seeds. This is where Graydon used to go to college so he knows the place very well. Their first round opponents are Bobby Reynolds/Brian Vahaly...

14/11  YIPPPPEEEE... Well played guys.. Another title in the bag.. Graydon and Simon defeated J.Erlich/K.Okun 7-6(5),6-3.  I am soooo pleased for them.  So this may be the perfect way to end the playing year for Graydon, as I'm not sure if he is going to play anywhere this coming week.. I know the Ukraine was a possibility, but the draw is out and he's not in it.. So my guess he is heading back to the U.S of A and could be heading out a week earlier on vacation... but then again there are a couple of other challenger options.. as soon as I hear more I'll let you know... But.. WELL DONE AGAIN GRAYDON.. You are a star!!!

13/11 YAY - another win for Graydon & Simon today - they defeated Karol Beck & Jaroslav Levinsky to take the semi-final 6-3, 6-3. Now you all know what that means?!! Into another final he goes..... another win? Fingers firmly crossed and watch this space! GOOD LUCK GUYS - we're all rooting for ya!

13/11 Graydon and Simon are playing their semi final against K.Beck/J.Levinsky as I type, as they beat D.Hrbaty/I.Zelenay 6-3,6-4 in last nights quater final match.. I'm sure Elina will update the message board as soon as the match has finished, but I won't be able to update the homepage until tomorrow.. Hope they win...

11/11 Graydon and Simon's next round opponents will be D.Hrbaty/I.Zelanany and the match will be played on Friday, its an evening match that will be played on court 3, with a start time of 7pm. All the best Guys..

9/11 Graydon and Simon won their first round match against Sluiter/Van Scheppingen 6-3,3-6,6-3.. they don't play tomorrow as their next round opponents are yet to be decided, but one way or another Graydon will be playing against a team with a player in that he knows well and who he has played doubles with on a number of occasions this year. Well played today..

7/11 Graydon is playing the Tatra Banka Open this week, his doubles partner is Simon Aspelin.. They are seeded 2.  Their first round opponents are the same as Graydons first round opponents last week.. Raemon Sluiter/Dennis Van Scheppingen. Their match isn't scheduled to be played tomorrow, so I'll be back with the match day/time when it is up.

6/11 Unfortunately Graydon and Jeff lost their semi-final against Luxa/Pala 6-4,6-4. I don't know if any of you saw the video streaming of the match as I was unable to get it to load.  Next week Graydon moves on to Slovakia and will be playing doubles with Simon Aspelin as far as I know.. I'll be back with the draw.

6/11 Graydon and Jeff will play their semi final today against Pala/Luxa, the match is going to be the first match on centre court with a 4pm local start time.. there is live scoring and video from the centre court.. fingers crossed for another final. The other final position has already been decided with the #1 seeds Aspelin/Perry taking that.

4/11 Graydon and Jeff play tonight, the last match on the centre court, so that is the second match on after 7pm local time. Their opponents are Burgsmuller/Braasch.. Hope you manage to block out the cheering for the home crowd.. All the best..

2/11  Big congrats to Graydon & Jeff on their 6-1 ret. win over Sluiter & Van Scheppingen... Keep up the good work boys, and bring on the next game!!

1/11 Graydon and Jeff are seeded 2 for this tournament in Aachen... they face Raemon Sluiter/Dennis Van Scheppingen in the first round, the match will be played today on court one..with a 6pm start time. I don't know if there is a live scoreboard for this court as my german isn't up to much! All the best Graydon and Jeff..

31/10  Well Graydon has arrived safely in Germany.. and is ready for the Tounament this week In Aachen, there is a link on the schedule page for the site.  The draw isn't out as yet, but he will be playing this week with Jeff Coetzee. So hopefully I'll be back later in the day with the doubles draw..

26/10 Unfortunately Graydon and Mardy lost today, they played their match on the Centre court against Marat Safin and Irakli Labadze.. The final score was 7-5,6-4. I don't know too much more than that I'm afraid as I haven't spoken to Graydon yet. He has dropped in on the message board though and responded to a few of you who have left him messages... So next week is Aachen in Germany for a challenger, I don't know who he'll be playing with as yet, but as soon as I do.. it will be here.

25/10  The doubles draw has finally surfaced for St.Petersburg.. Graydon managed to get his visa sorted in the end, but has had a change of partner last minute as he was going to be playing with Justin Gimelstob again, but due to Justin getting injured in a challenger in the states in the past couple of days, his new partner for this tourney is Mardy Fish.  In the first round they face Marat Safin/Irakli Labadze, the match will be played tomorrow not before 7pm local time on centre court.. All the best...

22/10  Its all been a bit quiet this week with Graydon not playing, I did have a chat with him the other night and he is waiting on his visas to get him back into Russia next week to play in St.Petersburg. This week he has been practising in Sweden and having a bit of down time.  Will be back with the draw as soon as Its out.

14/10  Graydon and Karol Beck lost their match today against the No.3 seeded pair of Black/Ullyett 6-4,6-3.  Graydon has now got next week off, and will be spending some time in Europe practising before heading to St.Petersburg to play the week after...  Will be back with details as soon as there are some or updates from Graydon when I hear from him.

13/10  Well finally Graydon gets to play.. He and Karol Beck are scheduled to play tomorrow, 4th on court 2 after a 1pm start local time.

10/10.. So Moscow beckons now and the Kremlin Cup awaits! Graydon will be partnering Karol Beck for this tournament and the first round draw sees them up against the #3 seeds Black/Ullyet. Will update with the match details etc. once they're available but until then.. as always, wishing you the very best of luck guys!

9/10 - Well unfortunately the winning streak just came to an end. A 3 set match taking just over 2 hours, saw Graydon and Jarkko losing their semi final to Novak/Pala - the final result being 7-6 (7-3), 3-6, 6-3. Another fabulous tournament for Graydon... he did us proud yet again, and bring on the next one!!

7/10.. The winning streak just continues, Thanks to the scoreboard at the AIG Japan Open Tennis championships site.. I have just watched a brilliant defeat of the number one seeds... Graydon and Jarkko d. W.Arthurs/P.Hanley 7-6(9-7), 6-4.   Next round opponents to be decided...

7/10 Graydon and Jarkko play Arthurs/Hanley on court 9, 4th match after a 10am start.. we'll be at the scoreboard..

6/10 The rain has finally stopped in Tokyo.. so all matches look as if they would get played today. Graydon and Jarkko took 1hr 18 mins to get through their match against J.Thomas/R.Mello 6-4,6-4. They advance to meet the No.1 seeds W.Arthurs/P.Hanley in the next round, I expect it will be played tomorrow. You can do it..

4/10 Graydon and J.Nieminen will play their first round match in Tokyo against J.Thomas/R.Mello... If the rain ever stops.. Match scheduled for Wednesday on court 10, 3rd after a 10am start.. I think there might be a live scoreboard on this one.. All the best guys.

3/10  You know when you just can't stop smiling sometimes.. well thats what it is like today... CONGRATS Graydon and Justin.... for winning the Thailand Open in Bangkok.. the scoreline 5-7,6-4,6-4 against Federer/Allegro.  Cloud 9 doesn't even begin to sum it up! will be back later, with Graydons reaction.. bet there will be some champagne flowing tonight.. and then a flight to Tokyo tomorrow.

2/10 Third Final in as many weeks Graydon and Justin have just beaten J.Kerr/J.Thomas in a very tight 3 set match, eventual score 6-4,6-7,7-6. In the final they will face R.Federer/Y.Allergro - hope the singles match will use up a bit of Federers energy before the doubles!  Next weeks doubles draw is out for Tokyo,Graydon will be partnering Jarkko Neiminen of Finland.  These two have played together twice before this year..In Adelaide and Auckland, and that now makes Graydon the most consistant parner for Jarkko, who has only played 9 doubles events this year and one of those being Davis cup... Will be back with Thai results very soon I hope - Jules

2/10  Graydon and Justin are just about to walk on court for their semi-final against Jordan Kerr/Jim Thomas.. Both of these guys Graydon has teamed up with this year, Jordan at the Aus Open and Jim In Morocco... Jordan and Jim have been playing well this year and won the title at Newport a couple of months back - but hopefully the recent success Graydon and Justin have been enjoying can take them through into another final...

30/9 WOW... Graydon and Justin have just won their Quarter Final match against the #1 seeds L.Paes/M.Bhupathi 6-7(4).6-4,6-4.. That is a RESULT!  Don't know who they are playing in the semis yet.. but as soon as I do, it will be posted here..

30/9 Graydon and Justin are scheduled to play on court 1, 4th match on after an 11am start, against L.Paes/M.Bhupathi who are seeded 1 for the tournament...

28/9  Thailand Open - Way to go guys... Graydon and Justin have just won their first round match against Marat Safin/Robbie Soderling 7-5,6-3. Will be back with next round opponents as soon as I find out.

26/9  Graydon and Justin lost a very close doubles Final to A.Fisher/T.Phillips 7-5,7-5... But way to go guys getting to the second final in as many weeks.. Now they head over to Bangkok for the Thailand Open, Thankfully they won't play before Tuesday...The draw is out and they face Marat Safin/Robbie Soderling in the first round  - Not sure if they have played doubles together before, Safin hasn't had much luck in doubles this year, although his win with Youzney did clinch the tie for Russia to be put back in the world group for Davis Cup this weekend...  So Good luck Graydon and Justin...

24/9  Back to back finals.. Way to go guys! Graydon and Justin have just won their semi final against P.Amritraj/G.Garcia-lopez 6-1,6-2. So a second final in as many weeks.. they will face the #2 seeds A.Fisher/T.Phillips on Sunday in the final on Court 2, not before 14.30 local time, with Justin also in the singles final to be played before the doubles... All the best, lets get back to back titles as well! You can do it - Jules

23/9  Well played again, Graydon and Justin def. T.Matsui/N.Sugiyama 6-4,6-2.. and now head in to the semi finals to face P.Amritraj(IND)/G.Garcia-Lopez(ESP), the match is scheduled for court 12 tomorrow, third match on after an 11am start. Justin is first up on that court in his singles match.. Good luck as always.

23/9 Graydon and Tian Tian Sun lost their mixed doubles match to A.Bogmolov jr./D.Safina 7-5,6-2. Today Graydon and Justin play T.Matsui/N.Sugiyama of Japan, the match is on court 12, 3rd after an 11am start.

22/9  Sorry for the lack of updates, but still on a high after the win on Sunday! As most of you probably already know Graydon has stayed on In Beijing and is playing the Challenger there this week(thanks to those of you who have posted on the board with results/schedules etc). He and Justin are the No.1 seeds and played their first round match today and beat N.Karagiannis/I.Klec 6-3,6-4. Well played Guys!  Both Graydon and Justin feature in the Mixed doubles draw for the China Open, Graydon is again the #1 seed with Tian Tian Sun (china), they play on centre court today last match of the day.. should be on the live scoreboard again. Looking forward to that!

19/9  CONGRATULATIONS.. Graydon and Justin have just won their first Title together in only the second tournament that they have played together as a team. It was an all American Final, with the first set going to Dent/Bogmolov Jr. 6-4, but a reversal in the scoreline in the second set evened it up at 1 set all. The last set went all the way to the Tie-break with no breaks of serve in the third set at all. In the Tie break there was a mini break for GO/JG at 3-4, but it was taken back and leveled by 6-6, then GO/JG got the mini break back and held to take the breaker 6-8.  So final score was 4-6,6-4,7-6(8-6).
I can't tell you how happy I am.. I'm sure Graydon will be dropping in later, to tell you just how happy he is too! - Jules

18/9 Into the final you go! Another win, Graydon and Justin beat J.Landsburg/T.Shimada 6-2,6-3. So an all American final it will be, as Taylor Dent/Alex Bogmolov Jn. advanced with the same scoreline, but in reverse 6-3,6-2. I'll be positioned at the scoreboard for the match.. cheering all the way!

17/9  Another win today, Graydon and Justin beat I.heuberger/J.Nieminen 6-3,6-4 and head on into the semis now to face J.Landsberg/T.Shimada, the match will be played at 19.30 local time on court 2.  Graydon and Justin are the only seeded pair left in the tournament.. Good luck 'honeywell' LOL....

16/9  After what I assume was rain delays, Graydon and Justins match was played today, it was the 5th match on Court 1, a move from yesterdays scheduled court. The good news is they won.. 6-4,7-6(4) and Graydon was in a really good mood after the match.. just very hungry!  So next round opponents are I.Heuberger/J.Nieminen.. Good luck in the next round.

12/9  Between 13-19 Sept... all eyes of the Oliver faithful will be focused on the hard courts of the Beijing Open in China. Once again Graydon will be partnering Justin Gimelstob and they've been given the #2 seeding! Their first round draw sees them taking on the Thai pairing of Sanchai Ratiwatana/Sonchat Ratiwatana - and, as always we wish you the best of luck guys!!  Match will be played Wed on court 2, 4th match after a 1pm start local time.

5/9  Graydon and Justin after taking out the No.15 seeds on Friday were today beaten by the No.3 seeds D.Nestor/M.Knowles 6-2,6-1, who already have won 3 titles together this year and have played nearly every doubles match together for 3 years... So for Graydon and Justins first pairing, I would like to say congrats for reaching the third round of the US Open... You were serving well today Graydon, I know it wasn't the result that was wanted, but 3rd round at the US is another step further than you have been before.. Well played.

5/9  Graydon and Justin play D.Nestor/M.Knowles at 11am EST Grandstand court... which means not only will it have a netcam, and stats about the match, being one of the interactive channels that Sky Sports are showing, they Should be showing it... How excitied about that am I.... Anyway, join me in cheering for them.. Lots of luck Graydon.

3/9  A second win for Graydon and Justin at the US Open in the space of 20 hours... Good going guys... They got the revenge I was talking about, for that defeat in Washington a couple of weeks ago... The match took just over an hour and a half, and the final score was 7-5, 6-3...(not having any tie-breaks today did my heart the world of good!) Wooo hooo! So into the third round they go.. and to face the no.3 seeds D.Nestor/M.Knowles.. I would assume that it won't be tomorrow.. but you never know.. I will add the match report very soon.

3/9  And as quicky as I've posted they have won, they are due back out on court again.. Graydon and Justin are the first match up on court 8, with an 11am start NY time.. They face  No.15 seeds Arnold/Hood, who beat Graydon and Robbie Ginepri when they played them a few weeks ago in Washinton at the TD Waterhouse cup.. So time for revenge I think... We'll be there at the scoreboard ready and cheering.. Good luck as always!

2/9  THEY WON.. YEAH! A match that they looked pretty much in control of, or at least, had under control... No breaks in the first set, tight tie-break.. but Graydon and Justin just lost out to the French pairing 7-6(7-5)... 2 breaks of serve in the second set saw our boys take it 6-3, and the final set looked like it could be heading to a tie break again, after a couple of early breaks were traded, but at 5-4, French pair serving 0-15,15-15,15-30,15-40... double match point.. and it was all over! Well played Graydon and Justin winning the match 6-7,6-3,6-4.  Next round opponents are the No.15 seeds L.Arnold/M.Hood... we have the faith!

2/9.. Today is the day.. and Ct. 15 is the place.. Graydon and Justin are second match up on that court after an 11am start in NY.. So hope a few of you will be there on the realtime scoreboard cheering them on and if anybody is there in person, please drop me a line and take some photos! Good luck - J

31/8  The doubles draw is finally out... and Graydon and Justin are in the bottom half of the draw and will face the French pairing of G.Carraz/A.Clement in the first round.  The doubles matches do start today, but Graydon and Justin aren't scheduled for their match today, so guessing it will be tomorrow then... All the best guys - Jules

27/8 Sorry for the lack of updates this past week, I have been enjoying the sunshine in France, so thanks to those of you who have been posting results etc on the message board.. and of course, Great to see Graydon stopping by again there.  Unfortunately that snow is still falling (for all of you who have read his message, will know what I mean).. but we all have faith Graydon.. I know this loss this week won't have helped, it looked like another very close one, losing in the third set tie break.... Look on to the US Open next week. Graydon will be partnering Justin Gimelstob there.. All the best guys

22/8 Please note Graydon is now playing Long Island this week and not Huggy Bears. He'll be partnering Robbie Koenig and they've drawn 3rd seeds Yves Allegro & Michael Kohlmann in the first round - good luck guys!

18/8 Graydon and Robby will be the third match out on the Grandstand court today after a 4 pm start. Could be a late one as Robby has his singles match also today, second on centre court... All the best guys.

16/8  After a long chat with Graydon tonight, he's filled me in on his schedule for the next few weeks and what he's been up to recently and how much he enjoyed his camping trip.. So before the US Open at the end of the month where he will be playing with Justin Gimelstob, He is in Washington DC this week, and next week a charity event in New York called Huggy Bears.  I would think he'll be playing tomorrow but the order isn't out for tomorrow yet, as soon as it is, it'll be here.

The draw is out for the Legg Mason Tennis Classic In Washington, and Graydon is playing doubles with a fellow American Robby Ginepri, they play the No.1 seeds in the first round L.Arnold/M.Hood (arg).  Will be back with the order of play as soon as there is one. Good luck Guys.

13/8/04  After the loss in Denver, Graydon made the most of being in the area and decided to spend some time in the Rocky Mountain National Park. He loves the outdoors and spent his time hiking, camping and swimming in the rivers, there are a selection of photos added from his trip.. looks like a beautiful area... Will be back very soon with an updated schedule. Thanks to everyone for dropping by - Jules

5/8/04  Just woken up to find the result for last nights match.. Bad luck guys.. I hate it when a final set comes down to a tie break.  It looked like  very evenly matched from the scoreline, Jamie and Jonathan defeated Graydon and Tripp 3-6,6-3,7-6(2).

4/8/04  Graydon and Tripp will be out on Court 3 this afternoon, 5th match, not before 5pm... Good luck lads

1/8/04   Graydon will be playing doubles with Tripp Phillips at the Denver Challenger, in Colorado this week. They are the Number 1 seeds, and will face the British pairing of Jamie Delgado and Jonathan Marray, although the match isn't scheduled for Monday. Graydon had a good week off, back at home in Florida...

29/7  Thanks to Graydon for the updated 'on the spot' answers.. Don't forget to send me any questions you have that you want to put to Graydon.

23/7  Graydon now has a couple of weeks off and a chance to actually go home (do you remember the place Graydon..?) He has been away from Florida for ages now and will be great to get back home to friends and family. Graydon and Scott were beaten by Black/Ullyett 6-4,6-2...

Rain delays... Despite efforts of getting up in the middle of the night to keep track of scores.. the rain got the better of the schedule (ironically its lovely and sunny in England!).. So Graydons match has been postponed until Fri 2pm local time on the Grandstand court..

22/7  Graydon and Scott's second round match against Black/Ullyett will be on the Stadium court tonight, the second match of the evening matches after a 7.30pm  singles match.  Lets hope the home croud do there thing and get behind their boys... I'll be up in the middle of the night watching the real time scoreboard..going to be a late one! Good luck..

19/7 Graydon and Scott beat Hrbaty/Beck 6-3,6-7(5),6-3... Well Played! The match was 3rd match on the Grandstand court... Roll on the next one!

18/7 The doubles draw is out, Graydon and Scott will fact Graydons doubles partner from the grass court season, Dominik Hrbaty, with his partner for this tourney Karol Beck... So Good luck with this one guys..

Thanks to Drew for updating, and to Fee for the Info... So Graydon is now in Indianapolis for the RCA championships, and will be teaming up with Scott Humphries again.. will be back with the draw shortly.

Graydon and Scott lost a tight match 6-7(5), 6-4, 3-6 to Leach/McPhie, so Graydon flies to Indianapolis soon, for the RCA Championships, photos from LA coming soon!

Graydon and Scott will be playing today (wed) on the grandstand court second match on after an 11am start.. Good luck guys!

LA... Graydon will be playing doubles this week with Scott Humphries in Los Angeles, In the first round they play R.Leach/B.Macphie, Hopefully will have the match day and times for you tomorrow.

Graydon and Travis lost a very close match, G.Carraz/N.Mahut took the match 6-7(5), 7-6(6),6-4.... I have yet to talk to Graydon about the match.. but bad luck guys... back to the hard courts next week.

Wednesday 7th... Well Court 2 at the Campbell's Hall of Fame championships would be a good place to be today.. Graydon and Travis are 2nd match on after a 11am start against Carraz/Mahut, Followed by Jan-Mike and Torrey Gambill against G.Elseneer/J.Salzenstein... Good luck guys.. I wish I was there watching instead of here waiting for results.

Sunday 4th July.. The doubles draw is out.  Graydon and Travis will face G.Carraz and N.Mahut in the first round, Not sure about the schedule of this tournament, but would guess it wouldn't be until Tuesday.. Order will be here when its out.. Good luck guys!

Saturday 3 July.. Still no draw up for Newport, but I do have lots more photos and info to add to the site in the coming days.. keep checking back for updates.. *new* on about Graydon and On the spot.

Thursday 1 July... Graydon is on his way back to the States, Infact should be back by now I would think, after spending a couple of days off in London. Next week he will be in Newport, Rhode Island, and will be playing doubles with Travis again, I will be back with the draw when It is up.

Monday June 28th
The match was due out 2nd on court No.5, and its always a busy court as its in one corner of the Wimbledon complex, next to centre court. The match started about 12.40 against Justin Gimelstob and Scott Humphries of the United States... The opening set was taken by the two Americans 6-3. There were lots of break points in the second set, but it eventually went to a tie break which Graydon and Dominik took 7-1, so we are now all level at one set all. The first game of the Third set was the longest of the match, with GO/DH having quite a few break points then taken back to deuce.. but the American duo hung on in there in the end and held and then came out and immediately broke and then held... There were quite a few close calls during the first few games as far as the lines were concerned. After being broken for the second time in the set, on Graydons serve he rather amazingly hit the ball from court 5 up in the air and all the way into centre court... The umpire just looked rather amuzed.. but taking the annoyance out on the ball helped as they then came back out and broke straight back, but they were still trailing 1-3.. Despite some great tennis the final score on the last set was 6-3 to Gimelstob/Humphries.

WIMBLEDON... Yeah everyones favourite time of the year in England... two weeks of sunshine and tennis.. Well not so the case so far this year.. with only one day so far played without a rain delay, and two days out of six being a complete wash out, not exactly what the All England Club was hoping for. But as far as the tennis is concerned, its been an exciting week and some great matches been played. I have been there all week from Monday to Friday, and was pleased to finally get around to watching some doubles on Friday, which normally would have started on Wednesday, but due to the backlog of matches was pushed back. It also meant that the only Slam that plays best of 5 set matches for the doubles, had decided to make the doubles best of 3 sets up until the Quarter finals to try to make up time with all the rain... I don't think it was the right decision, as I love watching doubles, and being best of five makes it even more exciting.  Graydon also was dissapointed at the decision, but hey what can you do.  Moving onto Graydon.. He and Dominik played a great match on Friday, 3rd match on court No.6. They faced two British Wild cards Daniel Kiernan and David Sherwood.  As you can imagine the croud was with the British boys.. with a few exceptions, but that didn't put Graydon and Dominik off, even though they were trailing 1-4 in the first set, but getting the break back, they got things back on track and took the first set tie-break 8-6. Dominik had already disposed of one British hope in the singles that morning on the same court and so was clearly in the mood to do the same in the afternoon.. The second set was taken a little more quickly at 6-4. So Graydon and Dominik move into the second round to face J.Gimelstob/S.Humphries which will be played on Monday, will let you know court and time when the order is posted.

Another busy tennis week for me... I have been in nottingham at the Samsung open this week.. as I couldn't get to the Netherlands to watch Graydon... So here is a results update..
Ordina open, Graydon and Dominik Hrbaty beat the hometown boys R.Sluiter/M.Verkerk 7-5,6-4 in the opening round, but unfortunatley lost their next match, which was very close to J.Palmer/P.Vizner 7-6(3),6-7(4),6-4.   Next up will be the All England Club, and again Graydon will play doubles with Dominik Hrbaty. Their first round match will be against D.Kiernan/D.Sherwood of GB

9/6/04  Sorry for the lack of update..(have been to Queens club myself watching a bit of live tennis this week)  Graydon is playing in the ATU cup in Weiden, Germany ... and in the first round he and Peter Luczak beat D.Kindlmann/P.Kohlschreiber 6-3,4-6,6-2.... But unfortunately in the Quarters today they lost to J.Guzman/G.Trujillo-Soler 5-7,6-4,6-2.   Roll on the Grass court season, and goodbye to the red clay...

6/6/04 Graydon and Simon lost in the doubles final, 6-4,6-4 to A.Garcia/J.Tipsarevic....  Next week Graydon will be playing with Peter Luczak (Aus) for the last clay court tournament before the good old Grass courts..
